Project context

My creative process

Step 1 : Pre-fight Preparation

The shoot began one hour before the fight, capturing Joe’s focused preparation and mental state. This phase set the tone for the film, providing a glimpse into the pressure and rituals of a fighter about to compete.

Step 2 : Fight-coverage

An immediate interview with Joe after his victory provided raw and authentic insights into his emotions, thoughts on the fight, and his aspirations for the future. This element brought a personal and reflective conclusion to the narrative.

Step 3 : Post-Fight Reflections

The fight itself was filmed with a focus on the action and the intensity of the moment, showcasing Joe’s skills and determination. Key moments leading to his opponent’s abandonment highlighted his strength and readiness.
